There's something inherently wrong with a sandwich celebrating Chanukah,
the holiday where Jews fought for their right to be Jewish, being
non-kosher.

I could, however, easily get behind the sandwich they emulated, on
JewishJournal.com, which uses lox instead of brisket. Or lose the sour
cream for this one, keep the applesauce, and make sure the brisket's kosher:
