Wow...that is horrible... We are very thankful that my stepdaughter,
granddaughter and son-in-law survived. This was just a horrible, horrible
accident that could have been avoided by this asshole not drinking and
driving.

My best friend lost his 6 month old son to a sudden bout of meningitis.
Killed him in 48 hours. The grief is unimaginable. For me as a friend, and
for you, as a step father, you know it first hand. It's truly devastating.

Your family will never get over it completely, but in time...life will go
on. They will, hopefully, as my friend did, have another baby and love it
fully as a tribute to their lost child. The only silver lining I've seen
with my friend's tragedy, is the joy and thankfulness in which they share
every single waking hour of time they spend with their children.

I sincerely.....sincerely hope that the healing power of time and love helps
your family go on.
