Everything I see says that Android is still mostly released under an Apache
2.0 license (with some GPL licensing for Linux Kernel bits). Stallman and
some others criticize the Apache license as not being genuinely Free
Software (tm) but I think that most of us recognize it as a type of free
software license.  Could be wrong though, of course.
