There may be some truth in that...i don't know.

There's a difference in motivation though. McVeigh was motivated totally
out of his ideology...he acted BECAUSE he was a right wing nut.

This cop was rolling along just fine until life started to shit on him. He
acted out because of injustices he felt were carried out against him. Had
he not lost his police job and done an honorable stint in the Navy and then
been released back into civilian life with a relatively normal
life.....it's possible he might not be doing any of this shit. The point
is, his ideology doesn't seem to be his motivation.

Perhaps i'm just splitting hairs though.
