I think Washington's quote(s) about the two party system describe heavily the things happening to our society and freedoms today. Both parties are in a "race" to win, rather than "help" the people (which is opinionated for sure). Packing legislation with bloat and hidden items to favor one side or the other is not what we as Americans want, but it appears to be something we can't control as stated below by our first Pres.
