Having a camera on hand and ready to record is just smart, it isn't necessarily trying to start shit. I'm prejudiced in favor of the guy, however, as I think that DUI checkpoints of that sort are unconstitutional as they nothing about them that requires any sort of probable cause. Obviously the courts disagree, so that's that.
But, yeah, I support making life hard for cops at DUI checkpoints, for screeners at the TSA, etc etc. Know your rights, insist on your rights, hold the line. Someone has to and it is pretty obvious that the courts and the legislature isn't going to lead the way at this point in history.
