Based on what I have read about Florida's self defense laws, I am not sure there one.
I am more concerned with the law, that, admittedly, pretty much gave the jury only one option, than the actual verdict itself. Seems to me, at the very least, a case could have been made for reckless endangerment, but again, the self defense law would likely knock that down as well. But, to be clear, I never claimed he was guilty of a crime. I said he stalked (but Tim did not like that term, so I changed it to 'followed'), shot and killed an unarmed man (Tim had issues with using 'unarmed', so I changed it to 'minor'). Those are facts that I think are pretty much indisputable.
