It sounds like there were some who were pissed they did not get their way - and one guy who seemed to be saying 'the new definition is too complex, so lets not use it' Newsflash: science is sometimes complex.
Funny, Neil Degrasse-Tyson is not mentioned once in that article. You would think someone who you seem to be implying spearheaded the campaign to demote Pluto would at least get a mention in the article if not interviewed for it.
