Yeah. Because images of slavery are good in the context of a political campaign. It is racist or at the very least insensitive.
Let's be honest, it is just plain idiotic and ignorant. That's why the GOP made that lame assed excuse that racism and ignorance doesn't typify them now. Until the next time, of course. And in the context of this, it doesn't matter what the Democrats did centuries ago, that's totally irrelevant to the GOP using that imagery now to try to gain political points in this way.
