I think it is called apache2.conf now...the latest version of apache changed
it from the httpd.conf file.  Not sure why they did that.  It seems pretty
stupid when theat is such a long standing standard.  It also makes it
difficult to get software to work with apache because most look for httpd
file.  I ended up creating a dynamic link called httpd.conf that linked to
the apache2.conf file.

Start fine after fresh install on new machine.  Installing coldfusion and
configuring the web connector seems to break it.  What weird is that it asks
for the server binary and it has always been httpd from that i remember now
it seems to be apache.  am i looking in the right place?
