The whole sex ed thing, or they are going to talk about gay and bi-ness for a half a year? I cant' even talk about it for that long. > Also, if Heather has two mommies before a child goes to the class then > she'll have already asked her parents where Heather's daddy is, more > than likely. huh? > I'll put myself into a scenario. Lets put it this way - many children will not have the concious opportunity to meet gay people until they are older because most people dont' come out until a bit later. Whats the harm in letting kids know that gay people exist, they are around us every day and they are nothing to fear or hate. > As I said before, don't equate my desire to teach my daugther in my way > with me being closed-minded. More than likely you're reading my posts > thinking, "knee-jerk reaction assuming that all homosexuals are also > pedophiles and perverts." That is nowhere near the case. Statistcally, > straight white middle-aged men are the most dangerous group of people > since serial killers, prowlers, rapists and pedophiles come from that group. I am not reading that. I am trying to figure out what it is you are trying to shield your kid from. ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
