i'm quite sure Howie was joking... were you recalling Quaker history when you wrote that? ... it's funny how every prison inmate knows that Quakers invented prisons but not many know that before they did it was commonplace for people to be hung for stealing a loaf of bread or the like. These days Quakers are more likely to be found working to find alternatives to incarceration...
