Thanks for the all the advice. What I eventually did was turn off the furnace (emergency switch) and called the oil company. They sent someone out. It seems as if most of the burners had a hole in them ( in the same place for just about every one ). The guy did some work to plug those holes. He has no idea why they were there. Everything seems to be working again, except for two things:
The heater in my bedroom didn't have a strange hole, but he couldn't get a valve in the hole, so that doesn't work. And the one in my office makes a huge hissing / whistling sound. Something to do with the valve being partially stripped so it would go in deeper and he didn't have the facilities to prepare a replacement. So, the two rooms I use have problems. : ha, ha: Thanks all! -- Jeffry Houser | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] DotComIt, Putting you on the web AIM: Reboog711 | Phone: 1-203-379-0773 -- My CFMX Book: <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0072225564/instantcoldfu-20> My Books: http://www.instantcoldfusion.com My Band: http://www.farcryfly.com ______________________________________________________________________ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
