fanaticism and glory-seeking...
Andy made a good point that Saddam is demonstrating bullying behaviour, but
without solid evidence that Saddam is in fact an imminent danger, then it is
reasonable to conclude that George  W. Bush is pandering to people's
appettite for demonization. Another name for that is sinking to the level of
one's enemies.
As Friedrich Nietzsche said "Whoever fights monsters should take care that
in the process he does not become a monster." I for one would not care to
see Osama bin Laden have the last laugh, whether he be dead or alive!
