SO like, in a way, the US has a terrorist-wanna-be government. Want to bomb Iraq, and install fear in less powerful nations

It did directly effect many people (myself included) who are in government service. I read what they said was the FBI definition of terrorism. I think that definition is flawed. Terrorism is acts of violence perpetrated in order to install fear in a population. Whatever the motive this dewd is a terrorist in my eyes. I live right outside DC, five minutes away from Benjamin Tasker high school. The day the shooting happened there, my daughter had to come home from school early. While we were walking home from the metro, there were police everywhere - at the top of the steps to the train, along the street, inside our community, out front of our front door. There were helicopters swarming for about two hours, making enough racket that you always knew they were there. For the last three weeks, I don't know of anyone who wasn't concerned this guy might pick them out next. Personally, I was watching over my shoulder every time I went outside and spending as little time out and about as possible. The same as just about everyone I know. There is nothing sensationalized about DC sniper coverage - the media accurately reflected the concerns of the community. This was a crime that affected people individually, communities, law enforcement, and, worst of all, school children who he threatened to target. I really don't know where the crime begins, there were so many people affected by all this! Whatever fear existed in the population was a result of the sniper's own actions, not the news media trying to play up a story. Any suggestion to the contrary is nonsense.
