And the liberals never go to the extreme left?

I could accept your constant bashing of the Republicans (I'm a
Libertarian), if the Democrats were a better class of people. But they
aren't. The Republicans want to take away my right to privacy. The Democrats
want to take away my guns. The Republicans want to take my money and give it
to sugar companies. Democrats want to take away my money and give it to
everyone but me. Republicans push the envelope on what it means to conduct
business in a legal and ethical manner. Democrats push the envelope on what
it means to be an honest and ethical human being. The Republicans want to
put me in prison for the rest of my life because I'm a hacker. The Democrats
want to put me in prison for the rest of my life because I dare to "hate"
something.

The Republicans are classical business oriented facists. And the Democrats
are Authoritarian Marxists.

The Republicans get the rural vote. The Democrats get the dead and illegal
alien vote.

The Republicans fight for results. The Democrats fight for whatever makes
them feel better.

No this is expected. Over the last 20 years or so, whenever the Republicans
get into a position of power, they have always made an extreme swing to the
right. For instance the results of the 1994 election, the 1952 election, and
the most recent 2000 elections. This is typical.
