Robert A. Heinlein
Beginning with technological action stories and progressing to epics with religious
overtones, this take-no-prisoners writer racked up some huge sales numbers.

One of my favorites, so I am not upset. Their description of Rand kind of bothers me.
I mean the lady espouses hard work and individual liberty, is read by leaders in
government and industry, and has helped influence generations. Like her or hate her,
I think this description is weak and misdirected.

As far as why she would be listed as an SF author, well maybe because of the
inventions and things in her novels, or the chaotic apocalyptic vision of America's
descent into tyranny in Atlas Shrugged. She did write an SF novelette called Anthem
which was pretty kewl. Short but sweet :)

So tell me people am I a cultist :)

Their description of Rand:
"This charismatic cult leader used science fiction as one of her recruiting tools for
new converts."

I never saw her work as SF, either ... I wonder which of her works they'd classify as
SF? Unless they're mixing her up with L. Ron Hubbard.
