It's our exchange server. One thing on my list is to build a web interface into my email at home so I can stop subjecting people to my exchange server mangled, multi-part, malformed, crap-ass emails. No matter what I set the outlook settings to here, it still sends the same crappy emails after it hits the exchange server.
It's like the exchange server sees my emails... "Ahhh, somebody trying to send a regular email again.... I'll fix that real quick... mangle mangle mangle mangle.... there ya go... all set." hehe - and our admins, being typical admins, take offense to constructive criticism or any type of change - so that's not a viable route. Anyway, figured I'd vent since you brought it up :) > -----Original Message----- > From: Ben Doom [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, January 28, 2003 9:23 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Names showing up wierd > > > Are other people seeing names showing up like "Cantrell or > "Haggerty, with a > doublequote then the last name? > > When I look at the headers, what I'm seeing is something like > <"Cantrell>, Adam" > and I was wondering if the wierdness was on my end (MS > Outlook 2000), the > sender's end, or somewhere in between. > > > -- Ben Doom > Programmer & General Lackey > Moonbow Software, Inc > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
