Yeah, the Knocked Up one was funny, but only because it was so off base imo, a couple women who I was watching the Super Bowl made the comment that if anything marijuana would help combat teen pregnancy...for obvious reasons =)
The other commercial was a better angle imo, but the logic is so circular as usual. If it wasn't illegal, people wouldn't be fighting over it. What I found interesting about both of the commercials is the departure from the "This is your brain on drugs", you are going to die type of scare tactics, to more of a consequences oriented commercial. Same end result, but I see it as an acceptance of the reality that people will do drugs, and they are still alive and paying taxes :) -- jon mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tuesday, January 28, 2003, 2:23:38 PM, you wrote: HH> For those who didn't see the superbowl, the commercials are now online HH> at iFilm: HH> http://superbowl.ifilm.com/superbowl/ HH> Most of them are hilarious, but I have to mention the two from the White HH> House Office of National Drug Control Policy... especially the one HH> titled "Knocked Up".
