Adam, Thanks for the kind comments.
The pics are from the "baby" camera - Canon PowerShot S45 4 megapixel digital. Optically, lens is equivalent to film camera 35mm-105mm. (Can also go beyond that with "digital zoom" but grainer pictures.) http://www.powershot.com/powershot2/s45/index.html Darn thing can fit in a shirt pocket (barely). No retouching of any kind - just schlurped them into the pc and used ACDSee to resize the jpg files. The picture of the surf coming over the rocks was with the WP-DC300 waterproof case. Note the little smudge of suntan oil about 1/4 over from the left :-) This case was a mixed blessing - yes, it works deeper than I can go, but it's hard to see the LCS screen, and it blocks part of the optical viewfinder. Sorely needs a sports finder add-on. <sigh> Normally use Canon EOS film SLR. That & lenses like going on Safari <g>. Have 2 wonderful lenses for the beast - 28mm-135mm & 75mm-300mm, both with active Image Stabilization built in. (Reduces camera shake, allows up to 2 stops slower shutter speed and/or slower finer-grained film.) Sometime soon I will cycle out some of the digicam pics from the web page, and put in some of the film shots which I have had scanned to cd. -Ben Braver > Beautiful stuff, Ben.
