John;

You are entitled to whatever opinion you want, no fault for it being harsh.

I'm just saying suicide is a choice, and it is rarely given as a right and
only under extreme circumstances.

It always strikes me as harsh when someone chooses to end it all. I guess if
I thought there were too many people in this world I may care less too.

sure it does....oh wait...that's my belly button....damn....

there are too many people in this world, if someone wants to end his/her
life, and they are not my freinds or family, then that is fine with me.

this sounds harsh and insensitive (i friggin hate that word by the way --
did you guys ever see the south park episode where they tried to do a
christmans show, but they couldnt because everything in it offended
someone??) but in the end the only thing that matters is passing the genes
along.

have a happy, sensitive day...

Life doesn't come with an off button, it just keeps going until it ends.

I don't know if suicide should be considered a right, because having a right
implies someone granted you permission to do that, i.e. God or the State. In
cultures where suicide is permitted it is highly restricted and reserved for
the most sick or the most disgraced. In the US, suicide is not a right.

People certainly have the power to commit suicide, and exercise it from time
to time. With that power comes the moral attitude that one is right in what
they do, and that one made the decision for the right reasons.

But apathy is uncalled for. At some point this man was someone's son, and
someone loved him enough to see to it he grew up to be a man. Whatever drove
him to end that must be horrible.

It's not sad.

The fundamental right of every adult person should be to end their own life
if they see fit.

sidenote: It's only natural selection at work if he did not have any
children, if he did have children then the only thing he accomplished was to
free up some air for me and my family.
