So, I was reading this news report about how the US thinks Iraq is placing explosives by oil fields in case of a US invasion. The article includes this quote:
"We certainly have very serious concerns about Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) setting fire to the oil fields," another senior U.S. official said. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this action completely legal? I mean, if a country wants to blow up their own oil fields, they are allowed to, right? Another random thought - what if Iraq went the Ghandi route. In other words, let the US and England invade but absolutely refuse to fire back.
