Hi gang,

So I now have a mixed-OS environment at home.
Older desktop is running Win98SE.
New laptop is running WinXP Home.

Trying to set up peer networking between them.
Had the old laptop happily talking to desktop (wired), but they were both Win98.

The Netgear router shows both machine names connected - 1 in a wired port, one
WiFi. Got to where the XP laptop can see the machine name of the 98SE desktop,
but get "invalid path" when try to map to a shared folder on the 98SE pc.

But I _can_ map a drive letter on the 98SE pc to the shareddocs folder on the
XP laptop.

Even turned off McAfee Firewall on the 98SE box, didn't help...

Huh??
