This latest wave of violence is predictable. Hamas et al have basic interest in no peace, since they loose all of their power and sense of self worth with it. Question is do they represent the majority of Palestinians and if not, will the majority assert some level of power. Another key question is can the sources of funding be identified and dried up. If these don't happen, I just don't see any sort of peace possible.

It seems to me that as long as Hamas chooses not to cooperate, that there never will be peace there. Of course there will probably never be peace there, because it seems like most people involved in that situation have a valid argument for their viewpoints. I'm just glad I dont live there. http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/06/10/mideast/index.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
