Actually, the message " Banned domain in received header" should be Banned IP. Banned domains are handled in a different place based on a different criteria. Lets say a2000.nl is spamming me (they always are). I know that any mail under that domain name is to be banned and that name anywhere in the received is spam. Lets say ommo.net is a reported name in a received header. It doesn't actually exist at all but I know from experience that ommo.net is always spam. It is also added to the domain name DB. On the other hand, lets say nyu.edu on 222.222.222.222 is sending out lots of spam. I track it to an open relay and after trying to get it closed, I add the IP to a banned table. NYU.edu is not banned and other mail servers under that domain will work. Only the mail server under 222.222.222.222 will be blocked. I've got to make the error message more exact. :)
