"About the programme The BBC hosted a unique global television debate about America's place in the world with 10 other national broadcasters." I don't know if this was shown in the US, but it was certainly very interesting. The complete video of the program is on the site but beware - it's an hour and a half long. The main part of the program was devoted to a worldwide poll on attitudes to the US which threw up some interesting results - for example the US poll found 96% thought people outside America would like to live there, yet 79% outside the US actually said they would not. On a more positive note generally there is a favourable attitude to America (but not to Bush), people aspire to Americas innovation and economic opportunities. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Your ad could be here.
