I have a GeForce card with an analog output and a DVI output. My understanding is that I can hook up two monitors to this card and do monitor spanning. I bought a DVI to VGA adapter and plugged in a second analog monitor, but all I get is the same output mirrored on both monitors (and they are both much dimmer). If I look in the Display control panel it only shows one monitor connected.
