Sorry about the news and the pain . . . I'm not going through it myself but many around me are/have. Like others, I've heard the procedure isn't fun but the result is worth it. Within the last week or so I either saw on a TV news magazine show or read somewhere about a new, less invasive procedure for hip replacement, comparable to laparoscopic surgey in the abdomen. Maybe you could look into that? Good luck!
