Well, it's a bit of a trade off. We need to charge for a certain level of
access to cover the expenses or creating and delivering this content. But
at the same time, we need potential customers to find us when they are
looking for the kind of information we are offering. (Outdoor recreation in
the Northern Central Sierra if your wondering.) It's the classic having your
cake and eating it conundrum. How can we let potential customers know what
information we can offer, with out actually giving all the information way
for free.

We got some interesting ideas for the Human users who visit our site. But,
I'm wondering if there isn't some way we can help the machine (search engine
bots) visitors. Somehow expose the key information the these that does not
to badly comprise the value of our product.

I would think that material behind a login should not be searchable or
cached by
the search engines.

| All right is there a way for me to have my cake and eat it too, or more
| accurately, have a login/members section that is indexed by search
engines?
| Is this possible? Is it desirable?
