I am having a bad flashback... of a really, REALLY BAD Star Trek episode! :-) Or is
it Back to the Future 4??? Or Terminator 4???

Not to bad mouth Star Trek... I love it... and I used to pitch stories to TNG, DS9
and Voyager producers. I actually sold a story idea once to DS9 back in '96, which
was used in the episode "Broken Link". You will not see me in the writing credits,
though... but I do have the proof from Paramount!!! :-)

Seriously (and I was being serious in the last paragraph - I really did sell a DS9
story), I wonder what the purpose of this spam "series" is. I have thought that it's
to get people to send him replies to say he's whacked out as a method to collect fresh
and confirmed addresses. It seems like a long way to go for a crazy guy to spend
thousands of dollars sending out spam. Sounds like a form of social engineering.

I am surprised some news agency/network hasn't tried to track this one down...
