Hello all,

sorry to interupt the regularly scheduled programming with a CF
question, but i notice responses are often more timeley here.

I am working on a CFC on a new server that hosts a bunch of different
sites.

CF is installed to the default location c:\cfusionmx

my wwwroot is e:\data\published\wwwroot

and thus the component utilities (where the CFC Browser) is located is
e:\data\published\wwwroot\cfide\componentutils\

however we have the development site mapping for our sites on this
server set to a subdirectory inside the webroot like this,

e:\Data\Published\wwwroot\developmentmx\

and then variou subdirectories for different applications.

we access these sites by developmentmx.domain.com/sitename

the problem is this, the CFC explorer is in the same path as the
administrator which is accessed as servername.domain.com/cfide/

thus when i try to browse (debug) a CFC CF cannot find the file
CFCExplorer.cfc because it exists in a different location.

can anyone thing of a way around this?

I hope this all makes sense.

Thanks for any and all help,
