My gall bladder had developed stones inside of it.  The stones tend to
agravate it and cause other problems with neighboring organs
(liver, pancreas, etc)  The doctors said that once you start developing
stones, your gall bladder will always develop stones in the future so
the best course of action is to remove it.  The gall bladder's main
function is to store excess bile that the liver produces.  If they take
the gall bladder out, the liver learns to produce bile on demand.
Supposedly my diet will be back to normal within 2 weeks.  I'm crossing
my fingers!
