I'm wondering if there are any Java developers also wearing hats as CF
jockeys out there that could throw some advice my way.  I've worked with
J2EE for a few years, and have written numerous servlets, taglibs and
other components to interface with EJB's of all types.  However, the one
thing I haven't done is build an EJB framework from the ground up.
Since we're going to be working with JRun/MX 6.1 heavily in the near
future here, I'd like to be considerably more educated in the process.

Since I've worked with Java quite a bit, I'm very comfortable with the
language, the semantics, the ins and outs, and object-oriented
development already, but I'd like to sit down with a good manual (or
two) on how to not only "grok" the development cycle of an EJB
application framework, but also best practices and some tutorials that
are geared towards developers who are already experienced with Java, and
cover the full scope of J2EE/EJB development, from creating different
classes of EJB's to working with deployment descriptors and all the
other sundry details.

So, if anyone has some books or other resources they'd like to
recommend, I'm all ears... or, well, all eyes, since I'll be reading
your responses.  :-|
