Why would the bar need to be set high? Opposite-sex couples get married for
all the wrong reasons now. Who cares? It doesn't affect me. It affects them
(and in a marital property state like Wisconsin it's not something to be
taken lightly, if you have any assets).

I see no problem with same sex couples getting married. Sure, some people
might not take it seriously. But if it's a binding legal contract, they'll
soon figure out it's not so "fun" to play pretend marriage.
