fact, some people have contracted the human version when they had brain
operations in which sterilized tools were used that had been previously used

Well we're in alot of luck that most people in the US do not eat the
brains or nerve tissues. But i wouldn't completely trust my beef to not
have any mixed in by mistake. *Shrugs* I just finished a big old

One beef packer has already started a recall of over 10,000 pounds of
processed
beef, and 8 others are expected to follow.   These are the ones that
processed
the infected animal.

What sickens me is that this animal was already so sick it could not
move under
its own power, and they still processed it through the packing house as
fit for
consumption.

We have not heard the last of this, I don't think.
