Mmm, Thai food.  An ex of mine went to high school at ISB(international school of Bangkok), so I go a good lesson in what authentic Thai tastes like.  We tried all 3 of the restaurants available here, and found one run by a wonderful family.  The thom kai gai(sp?) is the best, as well as the pad thai.  And they had 5 levels of spicy.  Thai hot(#5) was no joke; I can handle pretty spicy, and 3 was a struggle.  I had a friend that would get #5 hot and it was fun to watch the sweat pour out and his eyes bulge when he ate that stuff.

I haven't been there for more than a year, and I just found out that they went out of business.  :-(  For one I'll miss the food, but even more so I feel bad that they couldn't make the cut; they were wonderful people.  The young couple, the old thai grandmother that did the cooking, and they had just had a gorgeous little girl.  Ah well....

Eri*K*a,

Hope you feel better.
I found a good cure last night - Thai food
:-)

We discovered a restaurant 5 miles from house named Hot Basil - the menu is half Indian food, half Thai, both good.
