Or trick her into selling it to somebody she doesn't know who wants to sell it right back to your father.

My parents did this once - they were leasing out some land from a guy who did not want to sell it to them at a reasonable price.  They got a third party involved to actually bid on the land at a fair price, and then the third party sold it to my parents the same day.
