there are quite a few bands on the schedule id like to see. SXSW here in
Texas is starting to shape up really nicely was well. im a music fiend
so im always trying to stay in the know. a friend and I actually have a
site we are working on ( http://www.wedontdance.com ) for Houston indie
events, album reviews etc.
definitely looking forward to Coachella tho.

For all us 30-ish indie geeks - it looks like the Pixies reunion is a
go. They're booked to play the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
in Indio, CA on May 1, and they're going to be tagging along as an
opening act for the Red Hot Chili Peppers for some dates on their
European tour. They're currently booking some "warm-up" tour dates in
Canada, and a large-scale North American tour will follow in the fall.
Actually, I shouldn't just say 30-ish... I've seen a rash of Pixies
shirts around town on high-school kids, so I assume either they or
late-80's indie rock bands are coming back. Now, where's my Camper Van
Beethoven tapes...?
