True - but again, it should be optional - if the thing was plugged in then
it would, naturally, use the AC adapter.  The radio receiver itself seems to
always uses the power from the USB port in any case - the plug is only for
charging the mouse batteries.


Personally it seems odd to me that anybody would use a recharging mouse
stand on an unplugged laptop anyways (since if you're close enough to plug
in the mouse stand then why not plug in the laptop?). but that's me.  ;^)

So write to Logitech and tell them that their technology isn't as good
as you'd make it <g>

USB provides 5v, the Logitech lump is 5.8v, so it should be
theoretically possible, but it'd drain laptop battery life if they did
that
