When I was in college, some friends of mine and I were hanging out in a
dorm room, talking.  This was right after the semester had started, and
everyone in the dorms recieved this care package with all sorts of
goodies - guys got a container of Edge Gel.

One of my friends was absently fiddling with one of the Edge cans'
rubber stoppers in the bottom, when it popped out and blew seeming
gallons of suddenly depressurized, rapidly expanding shaving gel/foam
all over the ceiling, most people in the immediate proximity, the walls,
the bunk beds, the floor, everywhere.  The entire room smelled Spring
Fresh for weeks.

The waiting was the worst part. And it turned out it was a bad, bad idea. (No one was hurt. Two tents burned, one sleeping bag slightly charred.)
