We use clients in the db so that we can point multiple servers at a single
client data store.  Makes it easier for load balancing.  You don't loose
peoples client variables.  Of course we don't use any session variables when
we do it like this.  Kind of a pain always converting complex variable types
into something that can be stored in the db.  WDDX is ugly :)

Hi,

Could someone explain to me when and why would you add a data source for
client variable storage?

I don't understand this option.
