(continued from the cf-talk thread entitled 'CF Hosting - unfair - a
suggestion'

There has been an informal motion made to place Mr. Jim Davis in charge
of the world.  Since I can think of worse people for the job, and since
I don't want the position myself (I'll be happy to be granted a benign
dictatorship of a relatively small Caribbean island inhabited by
scantily clad native women who are attracted to overweight balding
programming types), I say we move forward with this project.

The job of placing one man into the position of global leader will not
be easy.  Who better to do the job but a group of mentally irregular CF
programmers with inexplicable muffin fetishes?  I say nobody.  With the
power of the Java codebase behind CFMX and the introduction of CFCs, it
should be a walk in the park (at least compared to developing something
like an open source CMS).

I think we'll have to work in phases.  <cf_globalruler> cannot be rolled
out enterprisewide overnight.  I'd suggest phase 1 should be putting Jim
in charge of the block watch group for East Harbor Boulevard in
Weehawken, NJ.  Once that routine has been firmly established and
certified error free, we can re-use that process recursively until our
requirements have been met.

What say ye?
