I agree. The biggest feature is this player is completely built into the headphones. No wires. I HATE wires running down my face and/or neck. This is the first widely produced model I've found built this way. So I'm putting up with the negatives. They aren't too bad. As I understand, when I do get a sd/mmc expansion card, it does not suffer from these restrictions. I can download MP3 files directly into the card without the proprietary software. So that's planned for my next paycheck.
