A valid stance. Perhaps I should have done that. I don't know. But, I
made my decision and for the moment, I'm sticking to it (I think I have to)

It does, I understand that these contracts are common in sub-contracting
arrangements.

Often I'll require an advance, which I did get in this case. (Not sure
if I said that). Since this was a relatively small project, I gave up
fighting the 'unfavorable' contract terms in favor of the advance.
Although, as we get closer to the deadline, I'm starting to get a bit
worried.
