Kovasys Inc., on behalf of its client, is seeking a ColdFusion Web-Developer with a strong background in Internet Technologies to be a part of development team.
The main responsibilities are to: - Participate in the entire software development life cycle for e-commerce business applications by developing reusable architectures/modules. - Ensure delivery of high quality and robust applications within timelines while maintaining high coding standards and practices. The position requires the following technical knowledge, expertise and aptitudes: Technical Qualifications: - Experience in developing high volume, transaction oriented web applications. - Solid 3-5 years of experience developing web applications in ColdFusion or PHP. - Experience developing ColdFusion applications with Methodologies like: CFC's (MVC architectures), cfObjects, and FuseBox. - Experience in the design and development of applications utilizing SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CFML, XML. - Experience with SQL Server 2000 and/or Oracle is a plus. - Experience in developing web applications in Macromedia Flex, Flash, AJAX, and/or ActionScript is a strong plus. - Experience with middleware products such as WebMethods and Oracle DRDA is a plus. Professional Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (bilinguism is a strong asset) - Ability to perform daily in a deadline driven environment. - Excellent team player and problem solver who is self-motivated and self-starter.
