Hello there,

I will be moving to York, UK in September and am looking for work.

Anyone in the Yorkshire area on this list? I really could use a few more
job leads.

I have been working with Cold Fusion quite a lot in the past five months
and feel confident that I could successfully play the role of a junior
level CF programmer. This would be my first official job in the industry,
though I have had some commercial experience recently, volunteering to help
develop a commercial web site.

I know that I could benefit a company who's willing to bring someone on who
does not have the typical requirement of six months commercial experience.
The future payback would be in securing an individual who knows how their
business operates and that could soon develop into a guru within the
company. I will work very hard to be this person.

I have pasted the text from my resume below. A web version can be found at

A PDF version is linked from this site as well. Also, I can provide the
code for a sample CF application I have written (in the Fusebox web
application architecture).

My CV:

Recent Web Development Projects:

www.fusioneers.com, summer 2000

Developed applications in ColdFusion for the member's section of the web
site.
Projects included creating CFML templates to run within the main
application. These templates
allow registered members to build and edit their fusioneers.com profiles
(list their skills,
experiences, services offered, contact info...).

www.dev-pro.com, summer 2000

My personal site developed for the purpose of promoting my new career,
post my resume,
and run ColdFusion applications I have developed. Source code for these
applications is available as
evidence of my CF programming skill.

www.brown.edu/Research/Timelab, spring/summer 2000

Helped lay the groundwork for the site. Issues I consulted on included
scalability, browser compatibility with HTML code and style sheets,
download speeds, user feedback, and
inclusion of a search form and form to mail CGI scripts.
