Myself and my partner are seeking contract positions. We are available for telecommuting and or local (San Diego, California and vicinity) positions at this time. With a strong background in computer applications, art, and photography and we provide first rate websites. In addition to dynamic website design we also design custom educational software for the medical sciences, and offer audio and video services. Specializing in web enabled database sites, we consult with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage dynamic web sites. We can negotiate contracts/agreements with software vendors and other Internet companies. We have 5 years of experience in the field. We have knowledge of a variety of concepts, best practices, and procedures within the field (i.e., SQL, CFML(ColdFusion), HTML, UML and JavaScript). We rely on our experience, resources and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We can perform a variety of complicated tasks. We may lead and or direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is demonstrated in our accomplishments. I have 3.5 years using CFML (ColdFusion) and 5 years experience with HTML. I have built many proprietary, Intranet and Extranet sites. From time to time I have perform the System Administrator role for sites. At one time I was maintaining five NT/IIS 4.0 servers with ColdFusion 3.1/4.0.1 and MS SQL Server 6.5/7.0 and MS Access 97. Since then I have been using the current versions of ColdFusion Enterprise Edition and upgraded to Windows and SQL Server 2000 and practice the role regularly. I have online ordering and credit card transaction processing experience using Authorize Net. In addition, I worked on 2 sites that were strictly used for Configuration Data Management and Inventory Control. My partner has experience in diverse photographic tasks such as at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. LSUMC is a large medical teaching facility, hospital and biomedical research center. Studio photography of students and medical staff for yearbook and passport purposes, copy stand, negative developing, darkroom printing, E-6 processing and mounting, slide duplication, and on location photography primarily in the operating rooms of the medical center were among the services provided. Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Director, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, QuarkXpress, Fractal Design Painter, and Flash are among the digital design software applications she uses. Most of her photographic experience is with 35mm, but she has used some of the large format (4 x 5) cameras and film. My partner is an exhibiting artist and has exhibited her works in Louisiana and California. She is a member of the San Diego Art Institute.
