Raffa & Associates, a fun, technology-oriented consulting firm located in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time ColdFusion Web Developer to join our web team (sorry, no telecommutes at this time). This position offers a seasoned developer involvement in the full project life cycle, including client interaction, solution specifications, database modeling (logical and physical), hands-on development and deployment. Candidates must have 2+ years experience developing database-driven web applications utilizing CF and Access/SQL. Knowledge of JavaScript, DHTML/CSS, XML, or ASP a plus, but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others are essential. About Raffa: Originally founded as an accounting and management consulting firm, Raffa has a 16-year history serving nonprofits and emerging businesses in the greater Washington, DC area. As an evolving company, our services have expanded in the past three years to include web development, dot-com incubation, third party web-based pension plan administration, Solomon system implementation/ web integration, and more. We develop tailored CF apps for second-generation web sites, and then perfects these for re-use with other Raffa clients. We are also integrating our work with a Client Extranet. Exact salary is commensurate with experience, but ranges from $50-65 K.
