Coldfusion / Enterprise Java programmer seeking contract or telecommute work Hi; I'm a programmer with 2 years ColdFusion programming and administration, 1 year Enterprise Java experience working primarily with MS-Access and Oracle backends. I have 6 additional years of programming and light systems admin experience, using C++, Visual Basic, MatLab, and a handful of legacy languages. Don't heckle my mentioning MS Access, please. I didn't originate the apps, I just added stuff and kept them running smoothly. I've designed elaborate web-based applications, led a development team or worked as part of a team, have extended other people's code (often without documentation), build quick minimalist data-driven segments for small websites and incorporated new features into existing, large sites. I've also bundled up code and settings with some documentation to allow transfer of a package of pages from one firm to another. I also have audited application-level security for code written both for Unix and NT platforms, and know my way around configuration and adminstration of both systems. I'm based a bit off the usal path (Idaho Falls, ID), so I can either telecommute or work on-site or some balance of both. I've been part of a distributed team before, including acting as development lead. Also, as a component of my work over the past year, I've set up a few CVS repositories and administered them to get source-control in place on a company's code.
