Hello- I am currently gainfully employed, in the industry, and am looking for my next opportunity in the Northern New Jersey or New York City area.
My experience in programming goes back to when I was in Jr. High and wrote a dBase application for my Father�s small business. It helped him manage records of transactions and speed form processing time. My professional programming experience started with the beginning of the web where I watched Netscape .93b unveiled and helped debug Tcl/Tk integration into Mosaic late nights at a conference near UIUC (this would be the conceptual ancestor to JavaScript integration), at that time I worked on, by today�s standards, very basic applications (this was 1992-1993!!!) allowing for data access into existing databases in mainframes, mini-computers, and the like. My more recent experiences have been on much larger and more integrated web based projects. This includes work at one of the largest CF sites ever and maybe still one of the largest; at hundreds of servers. In the last year I have developed additional expertise in Java, integration architecture, web services, and a variety of other areas. In general I have experience with every aspect of building a web site from T-1 installs, Cisco routers, switches and hubs all the way up the ladder to application architecture and the code; server setups on Solaris, Linux, NT, and even AS/400. Moreover, I have built and managed strong productive teams of up to 16 developers and adjunct staff (DBA�s, networking, etc�).
